Salseña is redefining the essence of Cali dance with style, becoming the epicenter for salsa fans. Our community fosters a vibrant and exciting culture where everyone, regardless of background, can join in and find inspiration.
At the heart of our identity is movement: from the fluidity of the letter “S” in our logo to the expressiveness of our typography and the circular dynamism of the record. Our responsive design system ensures our visual identity captures attention, whether on screen or on paper.
With bold colors and dynamic shapes, our images exude emotion, allowing us to boldly project our message. Salseña arrives to set the trend and amplify the voices of the pioneers of Cali salsa.
The Salseña logo is a custom design that focuses on the letter “S.” This design incorporates specific typographic connections that serve two main purposes:
Increasing readability: Typographic connections improve the ease with which the logo can be read or recognized, ensuring that it is clear and understandable at a glance.
Reinforcing the visual property of the logo: Typographic connections also contribute to making the logo distinctive and unique, helping to establish a strong and easily identifiable visual identity for the brand.
Furthermore, the aforementioned monogram is a shortened version of the logo, likely using only the letter “S” or a portion of the full logo design. This monogram serves to create visual distinction and is useful in applications where a simpler or more compact logo is more appropriate, strengthening the brand’s visual identity in different contexts.

The Asap typeface was chosen for its ability to combine modernity and legibility, favouring a more pleasant reading experience. Its rounded corners convey closeness, while its uniform character width in all variants maintains a constant visual perception, reducing fatigue and improving comprehension. In addition, Asap allows the style of the text to be adjusted without affecting its length, facilitating changes in the emotional tone of the content without altering the coherence of the design, thus optimising the reader’s cognitive experience.
